Dates

  • Event Date: Saturday, February 13th, 2026
  • Submission Deadline: 6:00 PM EST on the same day (no submission accepted after 6:00 PM!)
  • Judging & Awards: 6:15 PM – 8:00 PM

 

Eligibility

  • Open to all college students from all programs and years.

  • Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 4 members.

  • All work must be created during the hackathon — pre-built projects or codebases are not allowed, except for public libraries or frameworks.

  • Participants must register before the event and check in at the opening ceremony.

 

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Theme: “Build a tool that improves student life” — project should be a useful tool to students

  • All submissions must include:

    1. Project Title & Short Description

    2. GitHub Repository with code and setup instructions

  • Teams are encouraged (but not required) to include presentation slides for judging.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

  • 🏅 Best API Integration – 200$ 

  • 💡 Most Creative Idea – 150$

  • 👶 Best Beginner Project – 100$

The prize will be split among all team members
